Greetings and Happy Summer!
On June 24th we celebrated our Second Anniversary! We toasted our accomplishments with a delicious sampling of wines supplied by Vienna's own Vienna Vintner and collected over 5,000 diapers at the door. Nicole Murray's "Card my Yard Fairfax" donated the amazing yard sign shown below to add to the festive mood of the day and our incredible partner "Women Giving Back" brought their van to collect gently used clothes and join the celebration. The absolute highlight of the evening occurred when Annie Turner and the Board of Directors of "Food for Others" presented us with a $20,000 check to continue our work!
It was so fun to see old friends and meet some new ones and we were blessed with a beautiful evening to enjoy it all.
Almost half a million.....
From the first distribution day on June 25th, 2019 to June 25, 2021 we distributed 443,259 diapers through 8 incredible and distinct local partner organizations! We weathered a pandemic and with your help we never missed a week of distribution. We are excited for the next year and the new benchmarks we will reach. We appreciate your love and support and your belief in us and our mission!
